My seated mobility class has been designed for individuals with limited mobility due to age, injury or maybe disabilities. This will help increase flexibility and strength, increase coordination and circulation also reduces the risk of falls because chair based exercise improves posture and balance, whilst increasing your confidence and self-esteem . So whether you are elderly or you sit most of day at a computer, maybe you’re in a wheelchair or you just prefer to sit whilst exercising, you may suffer from arthritis, osteoarthritis, or rheumatoid arthritis, so just moving on a daily basis can be a struggle . My chair based classes are designed to keep you moving on a daily basis, as Joseph Pilates says “ Moving is Healing“. This is a beginners course anyone any age can join. This is a six week course. You will need a sturdy chair and towel and maybe a cushion on your seat. Wear comfy clothes so you can move with ease. And have some water to stay hydrated. And most importantly enjoy yourself.
